Fine Arts Festival
The purpose of the WAUPACA FINE ARTS FESTIVAL shall act to foster the arts through promotion and sponsorship of artistic programs, cultural activities, and educational leadership to further promote artistic appreciation to the citizens of the Waupaca area.
The three main branches of the Fine Arts Festival include: The Waupaca Community Chorus and Civic Orchestra, the Waupaca Community Theatre, and the Waupaca Art Show. The year 2011 marks the Festival's 48th anniversary of providing cultural opportunities to the citizens of the greater Waupaca area. The Fine Arts Festival has given to the citizens of Waupaca and its surrounding area an opportunity to develop their talents as singers, musicians, artists and actors. Theyve discovered new heights for their creative abilities. The Festival's various cultural events have reached an audience of thousands of people and helped them grow in their appreciation of the arts. We can be found at fineartsfestival.org or contact Dan Wolfgram at dan_wolfgram@yahoo.com

Pieceful Hands Quilters
Pieceful Hands Quilt Guild's 40+ members are quilters of all experience levels. The group meets the 2nd Monday of each month in the Community Room of Trinity Lutheran Church to show current projects, exchange ideas, learn new approaches in all aspects of quilting, and enjoy an evening of company and laughter. At least quarterly the group also meets for day long quilting sessions to work on group and individual projects. In addition to personal projects, individuals in the group enjoy making lap quilts for kids who find themselves at Riverside Medical Center, and for the Linus Project which serves the same function for hospitals in the Fox Valley. The quilters also are a part of the Million Pillowcase Challenge, providing fun pillowcases that are distributed to foster families and cancer patients. The quilters provide cash prizes for young quilters at the Waupaca County Fair, donate quilting books to the Waupaca Public Library, and host the round-robin Friendship Days with other quilt guilds. Dues are only $12 per year and include monthly Block-of-the-Month patterns, group block-lottery projects, and monthly presentations and speakers. Please feel welcome to attend a meeting or two as a guest. You are always welcome. Consider yourself invited! Put some "art on squares" at Arts on the Square as we invite you to add your own quick contribution to a quilt under construction.
