Celebrating More than 20 Years of Building Community Through the Arts!
For more than 20 years, the Waupaca Community Arts Board (WCAB) has been bringing people together through creativity, music, art, and shared experiences. Thank you for being part of that journey! Because of supporters like you, WCAB continues to create opportunities for our community to gather, enjoy live music, experience inspiring art, and participate in creative activities. Your generosity helps make these experiences possible and ensures that the arts remain a part of life in Waupaca and the surrounding areas.
Making an Impact Through the Arts
Arts do more than entertain. Creative experiences help build confidence. strengthen problem-solving skills, encourage self-expression, reduce stress, and create a sense of accomplishment. At the community level, the arts help build connections, strengthen community pride, and make our area a more vibrant place to live, work, and visit. Your support helped WCAB offer a wide variety of programs and opportunities throughout the year.

• Arts on the Square and ARTicipation Week — Attracting more than 3,000 people to the area
• Summer Nights Concert Series — Four concerts with an average attendance of more than 250 people

WCAB continues to make art a visible and meaningful part of our community through projects such as:

• Past projects include Shine Community Sculpture Project, South Park Metal Sculpture, Alley Murals, Sidewalk Poetry, Union Street Mural, Pandemic Quilts, Drawn Together by Kindness, and more!
Arts Programming
The Waupaca Community Arts Hub — Where Creativity Comes to Grow! has become an exciting home for creativity in our community, offering art, STEAM programming, music lessons, paint your own pottery, and hands-on experiences for all ages. Learn About This Year’s Collaborations
Yuletide Trail
The Arts Hub will be downtown doing holiday crafts for Yuletide. This past year, WCAB invited local groups and businesses to decorate trees in the town square! We look forward to bringing that to Waupaca again this holiday season.
We Belong Community Project
With Waupaca Public Library, City of Waupaca, & Waupaca County Department of Health & Human Services, WCAB works hard to create a sense of belonging in Waupaca.
Waupaca Area Arts & Culture Network
Bringing Waupaca’s civic, cultural, and arts organizations together to collaborate, educate, advocate, and share resources so that, together, we can intelligently build an engaged, vibrant, and strong community.
Waupaca Area Public Library
WCAB is grateful for the strong partnership we have with the Waupaca Area Public Library. It’s a joy to co-host many WCAB and HUB events together.
