We are always excited to bring community members into the fold of the Waupaca Community Arts Board (WCAB), where your fresh perspective and energy help strengthen our mission to support the arts in our community. Whether you want to sit in on a meeting and see what we are about, become a board member, or help volunteer for our events, we welcome you!

Levels of Volunteer Engagement
-
One-time commitment, no prior experience needed. This is the most common and easiest way to get involved with us!
Volunteer as an information booth attendant, bartender, snack table attendant, workshop helper, art show booth sitter, ticket taker etc. Get involved with event set-up and/or take-down, welcoming guests, ushering and handing out programs.
-
Short term 1-6 months depending on project.
Join a focused WCAB committee and assist with the event planning and execution of a singular project in which you’re interested. Ideal for people who want only short term or minimal involvement in a limited area.
-
Satellite members are committed to WCAB's mission, vision, and values. These volunteers work on a specific program or committee for a specific purpose or event that is recurring and accountable every year for that purpose. No monthly meetings. Volunteers attend only focused meetings on that project.
-
Ideal for people who enjoy helping with events and event planning and would like to be more involved with WCAB as a whole.
Associate members are committed to the WCAB mission, vision, and values. Members attend monthly WCAB board meetings and are actively involved in several events. After one year of attending meetings, associate members may become voting board members based on the capacity and determination of the board.
-
Board members are committed to the WCAB mission, vision, and values. Attendance of 80% of monthly meetings is required. Members must serve on various sub-committees and be involved in event planning. Members must follow and uphold board guidelines and participate in the voting process as necessary. Long term.
